Chris Baldus explains the rationale behind the RoofLab brand: “There are just so many 'Ridgeline' and 'Ridge' named companies out there. We came up with the name RoofLab to help us stand out in new markets. We care a great deal about new and innovative roofing technology and often lead the way as these new products emerge, hence 'RoofLab.'”

Florida’s Insurance Crisis, which began in 2017, has seen a rise in frivolous lawsuits and fraudulent claims, causing many insurance providers to leave the state or become insolvent. This situation has left Florida property owners with significantly higher insurance premiums. Roofing contractors play a crucial role in this scenario. After a storm, property owners rely on contractors to provide honest assessments of roof damage. Unfortunately, some contractors have breached this trust, advising repairs when none are needed. “It’s a shame what’s been happening in Florida. More than anyone, Floridians need a roofing company they can trust, and we’re going to be that contractor,” says Baldus.

Expanding Across Florida
Ridgeline Roofing & Restoration plans to cover the entire state of Florida by 2030, with sights set on Pensacola, Tampa, Naples, and Orlando. “We want to grow as much as possible, so long as we never compromise on the quality of our work or level of customer service. The hardest part is finding the right people. We’ve been extremely fortunate to have such great people join the Ridgeline team. We’ll continue to expand slowly and steadily to make sure that we only hire the best of the best,” says Baldus.
